MEMBERSHIP: REQUIREMENTS & REWARDS

MEMBERSHIP DUES:
- $75 one time initiation fee for new members.
- $75 annual membership fee: Full membership
privileges, including summmer practic, winter barn practices, club discounts.
- Membership fees can be arranged to be paid in
installments; first installment must be received by no later than
April 1st, the second installment must be received no later that September
1st.
- Yearly dues are to be paid by April 1st (submit
to Treasurer) and must be accompanied by signed waiver and current
contact information.
- Lapsing: A membership will be considered lapsed
and membership automatically terminated if such member's dues remain
unpaid sixty days after April 1st in any year.
- Family memberships shall consists of one adults
living in the same household plus the children of that family under
the age of 18 living in the same household.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Must embrace the objectives of the Club
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Individuals under the age of 18 may join the Club
as a Junior member
- Live in British Columbia
- Club members are required to help at Club events,
demos,trials, practices, fun trials, as well as participate in equipment
maintenance such as painting, repairing, etc.
- Members will be expected to "rustle"
up raffle prizes for the Club's two annual AAC trials -- Members
can solicit donations from stores they frequent -- they don't have
to be dog-related, although those are nice -- or "recycle"
anything new you have yourself. We will be asking for three prizes
per member or family each year and will split them evenly between
the two trials.

MEMBERSHIP REWARDS:
- FREE PRACTICE - Sunday* mornings in the winter.
Indoors in barn. *Except when there is a local trial.
- FREE PRACTICE - Tuesday & Thursday evenings
in the summer. Outdoors on grass.
- SEMINAR DISCOUNTS - Discounts (up
to 50%) on club sponsored seminars, must be a member in good
standing for min. 1 year.
- Peer Group Training with some of Canada's top
handlers and judges.
- Access to the club's agility equipment.
- Voting Privileges - ANNUAL
GENERAL MEETING
a) Ordinary membership-entitled to one vote.
b) Family membership-one vote per family.
c) Honorary Life Members-one vote.
d) Junior membership-no voting privileges.
e) In no case may a person vote at a Club meeting whose dues are
not paid as of the date of the meeting or is deemed to be not in good
standing with the Club.

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY:
- New members must apply
for membership to member of the Executive or be invited by a Club
member to join club practice.
- The
applicant shall agree to abide by the Constitution and Bylaws of the
Club.
- Once applicant has been approved by a favourable
number of votes from the Executive the new member will be on "probation"
for six months.
- New
members on "probation" may attend club practices
but must be accompanied by a current club member and pay a drop-in
fee of $10.
- On completion of the probationary
period applicant may be offered a permanent membership, at this time
the applicant will be required to pay a one time initiation fee of
$75.
- The Executive have the right to waive the probationary
period.
